Friday Night Lights →
I’ve been going through Friday Night Lights. It is a beautiful show! I really wished I had watched it when it was on the air. This list from buzzfeed has some great moments. Number 9 is one of the best pieces of acting and writing that I’ve seen in a long time. If you watch anything this year, please watch this show. It’s on Netflix Instant.

So like everyone else I’m peeved about the rate jump that Netflix will be adding. I use instant and get disks in the mail. Yes, it sucks that it jumped up 62%. That is a lot of money. Since I’ve been married the one phrase I’ve heard the most is “How’s married life?” Well I’ll tell you. It mostly involves drinking wine and watching episodes of Torchwood, a promotional Disneyland documentary, and farts…So many farts.

So I got myself an iphone 4. I don’t think my face to face calls will be as heartwarming as the commercials. This is what I assume my first face to face phone call will sound like.
Me: Hey, we are talking face to face!
Other Person: I can see your face. Cool!
Me: Yeah, and I can see yours.
Other Person: Well, um I gotta get going.
Me: Yeah, me too. Later.

I was watching the trailer for When in Rome on TV the other day and I thought it was odd that the reviews that were mentioned in the trailer were by random people who saw the film, who then commented about the film on the film website. I’m curious what Amy K from Sacramento will think of Shutter Island.
